VOOD offers ready-to-eat meals meticulously crafted by a hatted chef, who just happens to be vegan. When the team approached Swell, the brief was clear: create a brand identity that felt deliciously different in a progressively saturated direct-to-consumer space.
Although more people are hungry for change—in both their diets and their impact on the planet—veganism still comes with a certain stigma. Our approach avoided the usual earthy cues and overt greenwashing, instead building a brand that feels vibrant, uplifting and unapologetically premium.
The identity celebrates the ‘feel-good’ nature of nourishing the body with plant-based food, while also acknowledging the positive ripple effect it has on the world around us. From tone of voice to typography, everything is designed to surprise and delight with an energetic invitation to eat well, live well, and feel good doing it. The result is a brand that shifts perceptions, sidesteps category conventions and speaks to a new wave of conscious consumers who care about flavour as much as they do values.
