For a restaurant that set itself apart by being different, Eightysix has settled into its cult status—but their attention to detail and focus on flavour is unwavering.
Working closely with founder and industry veteran, Gus Armstrong, Swell evolved the brand without losing its distinctive ‘DNA’. Spanning all touchpoints of the Eightysix experience, the result is a more contemporary, bold and sophisticated approach that allows the quality of the fare to do the talking.
With ambitions to translate the local following to a second venue, Swell were also engaged to create a single online destination for both locations—North and South. Stripped down to the bare essentials, the website features stunning photography of the brand’s most iconic seasonal favourites.
